UPS (NYSE:UPS) recently celebrated the opening of a new USD 1.5million logistics center in Nankan, Taoyuan. Known as NK2, the145,000 square-foot facility provides services for both bonded andnon-bonded carriers with a total of over 3,800 pallet positions and3,000 shelving locations, increasing UPS’s total storage capacityin Taiwan by more than 30%.
Located near Taoyuan International Airport which, through UPS’ssmart logistics network, connects Taiwan to more than 220 countriesand territories across the world in as little as one business day,NK2 is strategically positioned to boost connectivity andcompetitive advantage for companies in the area’s well-establishedhigh-tech sector.
