DHL Global Forwarding Indonesia announces its second-yearpartnership to support Shell Eco-marathonprogramme
Over US$335,000 Benefits-in-Kind contributed for the Asia Pacificand the Middle East Competition 2024

DHL Global Forwarding, the freight specialist of DHL Group, hasannounced its continued partnership as the Official LogisticsPartner for the Shell Eco-marathon Asia Pacific and the Middle Eastcompetition. Building on last year’s success, DHL Global ForwardingIndonesia has contributed over US$335,000 of Benefits-in-Kind thisyear, providing logistics services, expertise, consultancy, andknowledge-sharing support for student teams competing in theprogramme.
Shell Eco-marathon is a globally recognized platform thatchallenges student teams from across the globe to push theboundaries of energy efficiency with their innovative vehicledesigns. The Asia Pacific and the Middle East competition will takeplace at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit inLombok, Indonesia, from 2 to 6 July, 2024. With over 80 studentteams competing in the Prototype and Urban Concept categories, theevent promises to showcase groundbreaking ideas and innovation fora more sustainable energy future.
As the Official Logistics Partner, DHL Global Forwarding Indonesiaprovides comprehensive end-to-end logistics solutions for thecompetition, leveraging their expertise in multi-modal freightsolutions. This includes transporting Shell Eco-marathon's eventequipment, the student teams' race cars and equipment, includingbatteries, chemicals and other dangerous goods shipments. Inaddition, DHL Global Forwarding Indonesia is harnessing itsextensive expertise in customs clearance and paddock groundhandling to navigate the regulatory complexities of Mandalika, aSpecial Economic Zone. It requires meticulous documentation andexpert customs clearance solutions to ensure seamless operationsand compliance with the unique regulations.

These valuable resources areprovided at no cost, emphasizing DHL's dedication to nurturing thenext generation of innovators.
