DHL E-commerce Solutions, aglobal logistics company under the Deutsche Post DHL Group,announced that it will invest over $300 million in the UnitedStates over the next five years. This investment will expand itsfootprint in the United States by adding 70% of its network area.In addition, the company will add automation and upgrade its IToperating system platform in all of its US distribution centerfacilities.
Due to the continuous growth ofinternational e-commerce, DHL's e-commerce solution is alsoinvesting in a dedicated export gateway for international freightin Cartwright, New Jersey; Franklin Park in Illinois and Whittierin California.

The Whittier distribution centerof DHL eCommerce Solutions opened at the end of 2020 and expandedin August 2021. Whittier's location has expanded by 100000 s, adjacent to its current location for handling internationalpackages and parcels.

Carteret's international exportportal will open in September 2021. The new 50000 square footcommercial building will include a TSA cargo inspection area. DHLeCommerce Solutions opened a fully automated distribution center inAvenuel, New Jersey in November 2018 and will continue to processdomestic shipments from that location.
