DHL Trade Fairs & Events, the specialists for fair and eventlogistics and part of DHL Freight, has been appointed as preferredlogistics partner for WorldSkills Europe. As the official logisticspartner of the nonprofit organization, DHL is in capacity to handleall transport and logistics services for the EuroSkills eventshosted by WorldSkills Europe. The service is offered to severallocal and regional vocational skills competitions, including thecollection of equipment and toolboxes of the participating teams,transporting these to the venue, and delivering them to therespective stands. In addition, DHL Trade Fairs & Events isproviding storage, container management, stand set-up andbreak-down, loading and unloading of equipment for the eventorganizer, and customs clearance.

Through regional, national and biannual Europe-wide competitions,WorldSkills Europe emphasizes the value of vocational skills foryoung people and challenges them to improve themselves and inspiretheir peers. The events introduce youth across the Europeancontinent to a variety of careers, from manufacturing andengineering to creative arts and fashion and beyond. The nextEurope-wide EuroSkills event will be held in Graz, Austria, in2020.

DHL has also been chosen as the official logistics partner ofWorldSkills Kazan 2019, which will take place in August of thisyear. This global competition is hosted by WorldSkillsInternational and brings together competitors from more than 60countries to compete in 56 skills. WorldSkills International andWorldSkills Europe work together to respectively improve andmodernize global and regional skills competitions.
