UPS continues to deliver for customers even as Coronavirusuncertainty is requiring greater flexibility and creativity toadapt to new social distancing and other health maintenanceprotocols. Recently, the White House through the Rapid-ResponseTaskforce for Coronavirus Testing Sites asked UPS to assist withthe logistics planning and operations to support the opening andregular operation of drive-up Coronavirus community-based testingsites in several cities. UPS is ready to assist with transportationsupport as needed for the community-based testing sites.

In this dynamic environment, the company is informingemployees, suppliers and customers of several measures it is usingto avoid the spread of the disease, in line with CDC and WHOrecommendations. Governments around the world have recognized thatUPS’s global network, and those of other essential logisticscompanies, must continue to operate. They have allowed UPS tocontinue operating at high levels of speed and efficiency even inunusual circumstances and in locations where the public is beingadvised to stay home and avoid contact with others.
